A&A, Tower Records, Icon "Sam the Record man", and now Music World.

Yes, the internet has been hard on the music industry, but who's to blame??
Could it be the crap they are selling today, or the repackaged 20 yr old plus greatest hits album for $16 ??? (new cover and an extra unheard song) worth it?

Selection at a music store has been reduced to popular music.

At one time you could spend a half day searching music at Sam's, just the Christmas music section was huge.

Now even HMV it seems is putting more emphasis on DVD's and the music selection is dwindling.

Guess you just cant stop the future, Hey I cant even listen to those 78's my father passed down to me!!

American vs Canadian Thanksgiving

Just reciently toured southeast michigan the other week and thought to myself how the Americans kinda get ripped off at Thanksgiving in two ways.
1. So close to christmas
2. it's a week before American thanksgiving and every mall is completely decked out for xmas, no autumn/fall celebration.

Canadian Thanksgiving was the second weekend in Oct. and the malls up here dont really get ready for xmas until the day after halloween.

I'd like to know how Americans feel about the date set for Thanksgiving. post your comments!!

I would also like to know why almost all the flags in Michigan the weekend of Nov 17-18 were at half mast.

A man who died before his time.
I have three records which i will post as total sides
(scratches and all)and album covers.
I did have the chance to meet Claude during a practice at Yamaha Music Canada in '83.
My Favorite Electone to this day is the FS-70.

I look for more info about Claude Dupras and any info will be posted here.
